Attractions of split


The Diocletian Palace is an UNESCO Heritage Site and the old town of Split is concentrated around the Roman ruins. The palace is regarded as the best preserved Roman palace. Getting to Split 


Split Airport is located 25km west of the city. Split Airport is easily accessed by car and bus with regular services running to the center of Split from the airport. The number 37 bus operates every half an hour. A different shuttle bus runs to the Croatian airlines schedule.
