The new terminal building was completed in 2008 and now is a very modern and excellent piece of architecture. The walls are mainly glass, which allows light in and passengers can view the runways from inside. It has been upgraded to the highest level by international standards and security measures.

Getting to Cork Airport 


From Dublin to the north, use the N8 motorway in your Car Hire Cork Airport vehicle, which passes through Cahir and Tipperary. This road leads directly to Cork Airport.

There are restaurants serving international food as well as major high street fast food restaurants. There are duty free shops selling discounted clothing, toys, tobacco, spirits and confectioneries. Car parking is available just outside the main terminal.
