Terminals at Dublin Airport 


There are two terminal buildings at Dublin Airport. Terminal 1 has been rebuilt and extended, allowing passengers more facilities and quicker transit times. Terminal 2 is set to be completed at the end of 2010 and will cover all long haul flights. There is a 3rd terminal being talked about.

Getting to Dublin Airport 


From Dublin city heading north, along the coast, take the M1 or N1. They both go to Dundalk and Belfast passing through Dogheda.

Heading to the north and west use the N2 motorway to Monaghan and Derry in your Car Hire Dublin Airport vehicle. The other north-west road is the N3 which after passing through Navan will go onto Cavan and Enniskillen. 

The airport is situated near to the M50 city ring road. To the west along the N4/M4 takes you to Mullingar, Galway and Sligo.

There are over 25 shops and restaurants at the airport in Dublin. There are duty free shops selling discounted tobacco, spirits and toys. There are also newspaper shops which sell snacks and travel toiletries. 

The restaurants include The Eating Place which sells Irish breakfasts from 5am. Jameson Bar sells a fine range of whiskey and the sandwich shop Upper Crust serves baguettes with a variety of fillings.

Wifi Internet is available throughout the airport and passengers can pay by credit card or vouchers at the information desk. 

Baby changing facilities, religious rooms and disabled toilets can also be found there.

Kilmainham Gaol located on Inchicore Road is a prison where the 1916 Easter Rising were executed. It is very interesting place to visit and it has guided tours.

Visit the Bram Stoker Museum. The author of Dracula shows manuscripts and early books from the writer. The museum is based on Clontarf Road.
