Terminals at Galway Airport 


There is one terminal building at Galway Airport. It is a fairly modern structure, which can handle around 400,000 passengers per year. It is also open 24 hours a day. The check-in desks are located to the right as you walk into the terminal. Lost baggage desks are located near there.

Getting to Galway Airport 


Galway is located on the west coast of Ireland. It is the hub where many motorways converge. To the far west is the N59 which goes to Clifden. 

The road the to south which follows the coastline is the N67 and passes through Kilkee and Ballbannion, before turning into the N69 at Listowel.

The N18 motorway heads from Galway to Shannon in the south. This road also passes through Limerick city and Dooradoyle. 

The N6 east heads from the airport to Athalone and Tullamore.
