There are two terminal buildings at Barcelona Airport. There has been a new runway and another new terminal is being planned. Once completed this will raise the capacity to 70 million passengers. There are 264 check-in counters and 64 boarding gates. The airport is very easy to navigate around.
Getting to Barcelona Airport
Barcelona is located on the north east coast of Spain. It is located on the A2 highway, which passes through the centre of the city. To the north is Manresa that is on the E9 road. To the west on the A2 road are Tarrega and Odena. To the south is Reus off the E15 motorway. To the north of Barcelona are Blanes, Cunit and Mataro on the AP7 highway.

The city has the famous La Rambla that is a pedestrianized street with many shops, bars, restaurants and a theatre. There are nightclubs that open after 10pm and there are street performers too.
