Terminals at Granada Airport
There is one terminal building at the airport. The only other building is the control tower, which overlooks the whole complex. Arrivals and departures are handled by the terminal and there is a separate hall for each. There is information desks nearby which can answer any queries you may have.
Getting to Granada Airport
Granada Airport is located in the southern region of Spain. It is accessible by the A44 from the south and passes through towns such as Armilla, Otura and Padul.
If you are travelling from the north in your Car Hire Granada AIrport vehicle, you need the same road, the A44, this takes you past Iznalloz and Deifontes before reaching Albolote.
Heading east from Archidona, you need the A92 motorway, which passes through Loja and Moraleda de Zafayona.
Heading west from Guadix you need the same road, the A92, which passes through Diezma and Huetor de Santillan. The airport is located a 15kms away from the town centre.

There is ample parking at the airport with around 500 car parking spaces. There are long and short term stays available. Payment can be made in the terminal building using cash or a credit card. All of the spaces are uncovered and have disabled places nearest to the terminal doors.
Facilities at Granada Airport
There are two shops at the airport in Granada called La Tienda del Aeropuerto and ONCE. They sell a myriad of gifts and souvenirs including magazines and books. There are discounted tobacco, spirits and confectioneries for sale also.
There is no Wifi Internet available but there is a small Internet cafe, which has computers ready to use for a fee for every ten minutes of usage.
There are public pay telephones, baby changing facilities and disabled toilets located both land and air side.
Paying for parking tickets is easy at the convenient ticket machines. You can use a credit card or cash.
What's Close to Granada Airport?
Granada is a town located in AndalucĂa in southern Spain. It has a rich history but this one is very well preserved and offers fantastic architecture as well as modern establishments catering for younger visitors.
The Alhambra is located on one side of the river as well as Albayzin, which is the Arabic quarter. The Calle de los Tristes is on the other side. The Arabc side is a World Heritage Site of UNESCO and has houses dating back to the 14th century.
