Terminals at Malaga Airport
There are three terminals at Malaga Airport. Terminal 2 and 3 have been added to double the total number of flights from 12 million to 24 million. Terminal 2 has the largest food hall in Europe and is a very modern design made by Ricardo Bofill, a local architect designer.
Getting to Malaga Airport
If you are heading towards Malaga in the southern tip of Spain from the west at Cadiz, you need to use the AP4 motorway in your Car Hire Malaga Airport vehicle. There are shops that sell food and drinks. Try the Delicatessen, which sells sandwiches and soft drinks. There is a Cafe Nero selling hot coffee, muffins and delicious small cakes.
There is the Airport Shop, which sells magazines, tobacco and candy. The Duty Free Shop selling discounted tobacco and spirits.
There is the Perfume Shop selling perfumes and colognes. There is also a restaurant called Aedeas, which has views of the runway and sells hot food.
There is Wifi Internet available throughout the entire airport. Connect and enter your credit card details and you can surf the Internet straight away.
What's Close to Malaga Airport?
As Malaga was Picasso's birthplace, there is a museum and as well, you can visit his childhood home. Located in Plaza de la Merced, there are paintings and pictures of him. The museum has exclusive paintings and exhibitions.
With Car Hire Malaga Airport, visit the Cathedral, which is an amazing structure and is near to La Malagueta beach, which is quiet, and around 4km in length from the famous bull ring.
Rock climbers are attracted to the city as the El Chorro gorge is a fantastic place to climb. It has a Kings Walkway which is a path suspended above the gorge and is a must see.
