Terminals at Marbella Airport
There are two terminals at Marbella Airport. A third is almost completed and will allow around 8 million more passengers to use the airport, on top of the 12 million, which already do. Terminal 1 handles the domestic flights whilst Terminal 2 handles international flights from the EU and further.
Getting to Marbella Airport
Marbella is located on the Costa Blanca of Spain. It is served by the AP7 motorway, as are most Spanish coastal towns. If you are travelling from the east in Malaga in your Car Hire Marbella Airport vehicle, you use the AP& which will pass through Torremolinos and Fuengirola first.
Coming from the west in Manilva, the AP7 again carries you through Estepona before you reach your destination.
If you coming from the north in Ronda, use the A397 which winds through the mountains until nearby Benahavis. The E15 and the A7 roads also serve the area, but they are minor roads, which runs close to the sea.

At the airport, there are around 2,500 car parking spaces. There are long and short term stays available. Payment can be made at the ticket machines or at the parking desk using a credit card. There is a security fence surrounding and a security manned electronic gate at the entrance.

There are many restaurants and bars at the airport in Marbella. There is the Irish Times bar that sells Guinness and typical Irish food. There is the SpanBar, which has live sports and sells international beers.
There is Wifi Internet available throughout the entire airport. You connect and then enter your credit card details and are charged for every 10 minutes.
The Duty Free Shop sells clothing, watches and cameras. There is a perfume stall and they also sell tobacco and spirits.
There baby changing facilities as well as disabled access toilets in the departure lounge and the arrivals lounge.
What's Close to Marbella Airport?
Marbella is the typical Spanish town, white washed houses and beautiful sandy beaches. There is the Old Town that dates back to around 1600BC, and Car Hire Marbella Airport is a great way to see these attractions. There are many buildings that are from the Moorish period and there is the Orange Square. This is filled with stalls and ancient buildings.
The town is noted for its golf lovers. There are around 40 courses available for you to choose from. Some of them have been designed by Seve Ballasteros and Clive Clark. Horseracing is also very popular and there is the Hipodromo Mijas Costa that features an all weather track and restaurants.
