There is one main terminal building at Menorca Airport that has recently been rebuilt. It handles both arrivals and departures for all incoming and outgoing flights. The airport frequently passes and exceeds all of the compulsory safety and security checks. It is a modern building designed by Jose Manuel Ramierez.
Getting to Menorca Airport
Menorca is located on the south east coast of the island. It is accessed directly by the ME12 road. There are very few major roads on the island. If you are travelling to the airport from Ciutadella in the west in your Car Hire Menorca vehicle, you need to use the ME1 road. This passes through Ferreries and es Mercadal before Alaoir.
If you are travelling from the north in Port d'Addaia village, you need the ME15 or the ME7 that passes the S’Albufera des Grau and Es Grau National Parks before reaching your destination passed Mao, which is the capital of the small Balearic island.
Parking at Menorca Airport
There are two car parks that are the long and short stay. The short stay has 495 parking spaces and the short has 250. The first 20 minutes is free in the short stay and payment for the long stay can be made at the terminal ticket machines by cash.

There are a few restaurants that sell hot and cold food at the airport. They also sell alcoholic beverages including soft drinks.
There is The Duty Free Shop that has tobacco and spirits as well as confectioneries for sale.
There are discounted clothing and souvenir shops located on the air side of the departure lounge.
There is no Wifi Internet available however, there is an Internet Cafe that has around 20 computers ready to use and payment is made for every 10 minutes usage.
There are car parking spaces outside and there is disabled access toilets located near the check-in desks.
What's Close to Menorca Airport?
Menorca has many great attractions to see such as the Monte Toro, which happens to be the highest point on the island. The views are spectacular and you can see the beautiful towns below, and can be visited in your Car Hire Menorca vehicle.
La Mola Fortress is located on La Mola and is a 19th century fortress overlooking the Mao harbour. Nearby is the Placa Alfons III, which is a plaza lined with bars and restaurants and is an excellent place to spend the afternoon.
The Xoriguer Gin Distillery is an 18th century building which has tours showing the distilling process of the rare gin which rarely gets exported.
